This is the shape and the content of the first printed artefact that I am designing. I didn’t like the first design iteration I was approaching for this artefact. I was struggling with the design choices i was making, so I decided to look back at this publication I did a couple of weeks ago as inspiration. When I did that publication I looked at topography and maps for visual and graphic references. So I decided to look into those again.I also thought it ould be interesting to look at shapes, pictures and graphics that weren’t necessarily about maps or mountains but that evokes and inspired ides of possible graphic directions. With the idea of using lines as ways of mapping, I thought of mapping from memory as a way of creating more fluid maps. These don’t specifically map exact spaces but they map movements objects and emotions.These where the next iteration for the first printed artefact. For the second artefact I looked into using graph paper because it is a medium that in mi childhood we used to learn about geography. This was a way of linking the project nbd the shape to the idea of translating experiences while conveying feelings.
